Dear Parents & Guardians:
Deo Gratias—Thanks be to
God! The first full week of school has been fruitful and eventful, and I
continue to marvel at our students and teachers.
We give thanks to those
whose benevolence has blessed us: we were informed last year that we needed
eleven inches of gravel on our playground instead of four which meant seven
inches less dirt. Andrew Timmerman and his crew cleared the gravel, dug out the
dirt, hauled in more gravel, hauled off the dirt, and dug new holes for the
playground equipment—quite an amazing fete and gift of time, talent, and
treasure. Of course, the playground equipment needed to be reset in concrete, so
we give a huge “Thank you,” also, to Larry O’Toole for mixing a lot of mud (and
everything else) to set them all. Lastly, thank you to Frances Simants for her
donation of kitchen supplies for our school cafeteria. May God bless you for
your thoughtfulness!
I would also like to share
with you how much I appreciate your wonderful turnout at Back-to-
This is another reminder
that Father Robert will be holding an informational session on Wednesday,

learning more about the Catholic education your daughter or son will receive
this year.
Also, for any of you who
will be volunteering your time with the students, Safe Environment training will
be held Wednesday, September 10 at 6:30 pm; Saturday, September 13 at 9:00 am;

Again, it was wonderful
meeting so many of you Wednesday night. I look forward to meeting more of you.
Have a wonderful weekend, and as always, should you have questions, comments, or
concerns, do not hesitate to contact me.
