About Us

Readers must love the Scriptures and be competent readers to effectively proclaim God's word, the word of salvation for all people. Through preparing for Mass, lectors gain a deeper understanding of God's word. Any baptized parish member is eligible to participate in this ministry, proclaiming God's Word in the sacred assembly during Mass.
